6th, 7th, and 8th Grades AASA Writing

All students in 3rd-8th Grades are required to take the State Tests. Academy Del Sol reserves the right to retain students who do not take all of the tests for their grade level.

Students must be on time each day they are scheduled to test and must stay until their test is complete. 

Do not schedule outside appointments for the days your child is scheduled to test.

If students are sick, please keep them home. Once they start a test, they have to finish it the same school day.

If students are late to school on a testing day, they will not be allowed to enter the classroom and will have to wait in the office until their class is done testing.

3rd Grade Oral Reading (ORF) will be completed in small groups. Students will test in one of the groups, but not both.

Please ensure that your child gets a good night sleep and eats a nutritious breakfast each day of testing.

Students will be required to remove their blazers/jackets, so you are encouraged to send your students in layers.

You are recommended to send snacks with your child, however they need to be snacks that can be easily eaten while working on a computer.
